H.L. by Design can be described as your all-in-one kitchen + bath + closet design in the Quad Cities. I take care of your entire project from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the final unveiling, I work closely with you to understand your needs, preferences and goals.

I’ll schedule a time convenient for you to take free in-home measurements.

After taking your free in-home measurements, we’ll set up a private meeting at my downtown Davenport showroom where we go over the estimate and types of materials needed for your project. This meeting is exclusively yours, free of interruption.

Upon delivery of your materials, I become the general contractor.* To continue my high standards for your project, I personally vet and choose each installer, plumber and electrician. I handle all communications for you so you can carry on with life, uninterrupted.
You will be guided through every step of this collaborative process, from development and material selection to space planning and layout optimization. With meticulous attention to detail, I’ll craft a customized design plan that blends functionality and aesthetics. Utilizing the latest design tools and industry expertise, this process is “designed” to bring you joy, as is the final result!
*My general contracting services apply only when ordering materials through me.

MEET Heather
With more than ten years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, design has undeniably become my passion. But how did I end up here?
From professional ballet dancing to flipping houses, I have always been in tune with my creative side. When I realized how much I enjoyed huge transformations, I sought a bigger challenge to specialize in kitchen + bath remodeling.
Motivated by this newfound passion, I made the decision to pursue a design degree. Today, my mission as a business owner is to deliver quality products, share my knowledge and transform your space into something you will absolutely love sharing with family and friends.
